Ed è vero anche se si parla del Tourist House Ghiberti un Bed and Breakfast senza pretese che potrebbe apparire inosservato ma, una volta dentro, è impossibile dimenticarlo. I turisti hanno l'abitudine di scegliere grandi, e conosciute catene alberghiere che offrono un'affidabile servizio ma così impersonali, e Firenze ne ha un buon numero. Ma questi alberghi non sono all'altezza di questa città. Firenze parla di cultura, storia e alberghi come il Tourist House Ghiberti. Questo incantevole hotel è situato in una strada abbastanza animata in pieno centro, 2 minuti dal Duomo, nascosto dietro un paio di imponenti porte in legno, nessuno si aspetterebbe di trovare un posto così. Ma perseverate, ne vale la pena. Il Tourist House Ghiberti è piccolo con 5 camere, una sala colazione e una terrazza. Ma tutto qui sprizza la Toscana. La colazione all'italiana è più che sufficiente per un giro in città. I servizi offerti dai proprietari Claudio & Christelle sono impeccabili. Parlano un buon inglese e sono felici di dare buoni consigli per i ristoranti. Le stanze sono ampie e offrono tutti i servizi che uno potrebbe sognare, inclusi una grande TV LCD, lettore DVD con un'ampia scelta di DVD e accesso ad internet gratuito. Ci sono anche una sauna e una vasca idromassaggio più che graditi dopo una giornata esplorando la città. Tutti dovrebbero visitare Firenze almeno una volta. E questi dovrebbero alloggiare al Tourist House Ghiberti. Non è mai stato così facile raggiungere Firenze, locali aeroporti offrono ora voli verso la vicina Pisa a meno di 40 pound andata e ritorno.   Richard Heath
............. it is quite apparent that visitors don't need to try too hard to find places of outstanding beauty. That is unless you are talking about the Tourist House Ghiberti - an unassuming bed and breakfast which could easily go unnoticed but, once inside, is impossible to forget. Tourists have a habit of choosing large, well-branded hotel chains which offer reliable if impersonal service, and Florence certainly has its far share of these. But they don't sit well in a city like this. Florence is all about culture, and history and hotels like the Tourist House Ghiberti. This superb hotel is located on a fairly busy street in the heart of the city, just a two minutes' walk from the Duomo, but, hidden behind a set of giant wooden doors, you would never know it was there. But persevere, because it is worth it. It is small, with only five rooms, a tiny dining area and a balcony. But everything about it oozes Tuscany. The breakfasts are true Italian, and are just what is needed before a day seeing the sights. The service from owners Claudio and Christelle is impeccable. They speak good English and are more than happy to recommend a restaurant or two. The rooms are large and offer every facility you could dream of , including a big LCD TV, DVD player with DVD library and free internet access. They even have a sauna and jacuzzi, more than welcome after a long day exploring the sights. Everyone should visit Florence at least once. And those who do should stay at the Tourist House Ghiberti. It has never been easier to reach Florence, most local airports now fly there offering flights to nearby Pisa for as little £40 return.  Richard Heath

Et ceci est aussi vrai si on parle du Tourist House Ghiberti, un Bed & Breakfast sans prétention qui pourrait passer inaperçu, mais une fois à l’intérieur impossible de l’oublier. Les touristes ont pris l’habitude de choisir de grandes chaînes hôtelières qui offrent un service fiable mais impersonnel, et Florence en recueille un bon nombre. Mais ces hôtels ne sont pas à l’hauteur de cette ville. Florence parle de culture, histoire et d’hôtels comme le Tourist House Ghiberti. Ce superbe hôtel est situé sur une rue assez animée en plein centre, à 2 minutes de la Cathédrale, caché derrière deux grandes portes en bois, personne ne pourrait penser de trouver un lieux de ce genre. Le Tourist House Ghiberti est un petit hôtel, avec 5 chambres une salle du petit déjeuner et une terrasse. Mais ici tout rayonne la Toscane. Le petit déjeuner à l’italienne est plus que suffisant pour un tour en ville. Les services offerts par le propriétaires Claudio et Christelle sont impeccables. Ils parlent un bon anglais et sont toujours heureux d’indiquer de bons restaurants. Les chambres sont amples et offrent tout les services dont on pourrait rêver, inclus une grande télé LCD un lecteur DVD avec un grand choix de DVD et connexion gratuite à internet. Il y a aussi un jacuzzi et un sauna plus qu’appréciés après une journée à explorer la ville. Tout le monde devrait au moins une fois visiter Florence. Et ces personnes devraient loger chez Tourist House Ghiberti. Cela n’a jamais été aussi facile d’arriver à Florence, nos aéroports régionaux offrent maintenant des vols vers la voisine Pise à moins de 40 Pound aller retour.  Richard Heath

Dies gilt auch, wenn man vom Tourist House Ghiberti spricht, einem Bed and Breakfast welches leicht zu übersehen ist, aber wer es einmal betritt, dem bleibt es unvergessen. Touristen haben die Angewohnheit große und bekannte Hotelketten auszusuchen, welche einen guten aber eher unpersönlichen Service bieten. Diese Hotels sind zahlreich vertreten in Florenz aber nicht auf der Höhe dieser Stadt: Florenz erzählt von Kultur, Geschichte und Hotels wie dem Tourist House Ghiberti. Dieses bezaubernde Hotel liegt an einer recht belebten Strasse mitten im Zentrum, nur 2 Minuten vom Dom entfernt, versteckt hinter einem imposanten Portal. Niemand würde solch einen Ort erwarten. Aber halten Sie inne, es lohnt sich. Das Tourist House Ghiberti ist klein mit 5 Zimmern, einem Frühstücksraum und einer Terrasse. Alles sprüht von Toskana. Das Frühstück italienischer Art ist reich und genau das, was man für eine Tour durch die Stadt braucht. Der Service, den die Besitzer Claudio & Christelle bieten ist makellos. Sie sprechen gutes Englisch und freuen sich, gute Tips für Restaurants zu geben. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und bieten alles was man sich erträumen kann., inklusive einem großen LCD-Fernseher, DVD Player mit einer großen Auswahl an DVD’s und gratis Internet Zugang. Im Hotel befinden sich auch ein Whirlpool und eine Sauna, welche nach einem langen Erkundungstag durch die Stadt sehr wohltuend sein können. Jedermann sollte wenigstens einmal Florenz besuchen und dabei sollte man im Tourist House Ghiberti übernachten. Es war nie zuvor so einfach nach Florenz zu reisen. Lokale Flughäfen bieten Hin- und Rückflüge in das nahegelegene Pisa zu weniger als 40 Pfund an.   Richard Heath
