| FABIO
CALVETTI was born in Certaldo (near Firenze) in 1956, where
he currently based. He has a diploma from the Liceo Artistico
and also from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence in the
Scuola di Pittura. He has taken part in many shows, national
and international. In 1995 he taught painting at the Ecole de
Beaux Arts of Le Port in the Ile de la Réunion. He has
worked abroad intensively with shows in The States, Germany,
Belgium and above all in Japan and France.

| The mosaics have
been created and overseen by ANGELA CERI a Florentine who has
for years benn immersed in the art of mosaic. She has reserched
the antique traditions of mosaic work using the original tools
like the facing hammer and graver, as well as classic materials
like stone, marble and vitreous paste. |

| The result is floors,
table tops, wall decorations and ornamental motifs that give
the colour, light and inspiration of traditional mosaics as
well as her decoration of vases, frames, boxes and ornaments.
Angela has also for many years studied and been apprentised
in restoration which she carries out with much attention, care
and great ability, in accordance with a quality craft. |
