QUESTION: Are there any limit hours for the entrance during the night?
ANSWER: No, there are not. Upon check-in we will give you a magnetic card which let you open all the entrance doors at any time.
Q: In case of any emergency when the desk is closed o in case we lose the magnetic key to enter , what can we do?
A: Someone is always present inside the B&B for any emergency the night.
Q: What are the hours of the hot tub and the sauna?
A: The hot tub and the sauna are open from 14:00 to 22:00.
Q: What are the services with extra fee?
A: All of our services in the structure or in the room are included in the price of the room except for the drinks from the mini-bar, room service, phone calls and prints.
Q: Housekeeping is offered daily?
A: Yes, it is carried out in the morning until 13:00.
Q: What is provided for the bathroom?
A: In the bathroom you will find a set of towels, soap, shower, shampoo, etc..
Q: What are the hours of check-in?
A: We guarantee the room ready on arrival from 14:00. In case of early arrivals, if the room is ready, you can take possession of it immediately, otherwise you can leave your luggage
Q: Do you have the Wi-Fi connection inside the room?
A: Yes, free WI-FI is available throughout the hotel, plus each room also has a computer with internet connection always free.

Q: Do you have laundry facilities?
A: For a laundry service we rely to an outside service which is available every day except weekend and public holidays. The clothes to be cleaned, should be sent before 10:00 in the morning and will be brought back in the evening. Alternatively, about 5 minutes walk there is a laundry self-service open daily from 8:00 until 22:00.
Q: Do you have an iron and ironing board?
A: The iron and ironing are available to customers, on request, from 13:00 to 21:00. For safety reasons, not in the room but in the breakfast room.
Q: Can I smoke in the room?
A: All our rooms are non-smoking. The space used for smoking is the outdoor terrace accessible at any time.
Q: Do you have triple rooms and is there an extra fee?
A: In the double room we can put an extra bed for children not older than 12 years. It is not possible to accommodate 3 adults sharing. In addition we also have a cot free of charge for children up to 3 years. Contact us for information on rates of supplements: depends by the age of the child.
Q: What kind of breakfast is served?
A: In the morning you will find a buffet provided with fresh and varied products, such as hot drinks from the classic Italian coffee or regular coffee, different types of tea, various types of bread and croissants, fresh fruit, fruit salad and plums in syrup, 8 different types of cornflakes, juice, yoghurt, jam and honey, meats, fresh home-made cakes, scrambled eggs, pancakes and various other things.
Q: Do you serve breakfast for guests from outside?
A: Yes, the supplement for an extra breakfast is 5.00 Euros
Q: What are the concierge services you can take care of?
A: We cooperate with the CAF TOURS: an “historical” travels & Tours Agency of Florence. You can check and book your own visit to Florence, your own tour of the nearby towns or other Italian towns, various itineraries in Tuscany or out, private or groups tours with professional mother tongue guides, directly on this LINK
A: Upon request we can provide for the reservation of the Florentine museums, especially recommended for Accademia and Uffizi in high season. No booking fees on our part and you will have to pay the whole thing (ticket + reservation) directly to the museum in cash upon your visit.
A: Usually we cooperate with many companies of NCC (chauffeur). The routes covered vary from the visit of Florence and the surrounding hills to the classic itineraries Chianti / Siena / San Gimignano to the art cities in Tuscany and out. Q: Is there need to book the Taxi?
A: From 7:00 am until 23:00 there is no need to book a taxi, they will come soon, since we are in direct contact with the taxi station electronically. After or before this time it is suggestable.
Q: The tap water is drinkable?
A: The water comes from the city's water system already drinkable, plus we installed a Culligan water softener to reduce the scale and make the water softer. A special filter prevents small foreign bodies from entering our pipes. Increasing attention is being given to counteract the bacterium of Legionella. This bacterium was the cause of many deaths in the world, even recently. For this reason, even if it is a legal obligation to take measures to combat this bacterial form, we felt compelled to safeguard the health of our customers.
Q: What hygiene rules followed?
A: As far as the health and hygiene of the kitchen and food, we follow closely the guidelines of the 'HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), recognized and adopted in Europe and all around the world. The staff follows the required courses.
Q: There are smoke detectors?
A: Although we were not obliged to comply with all fire regulations, being a small structure, we built the whole room with smoke detectors and fire-resistant materials where it was possible. In addition the room doors are fireproof REI45 (direct fire resistant for 45 minutes). Gas detectors connected to the automatic closing of the gas, are located in the crucial points of the structure. Fire extinguishers and electrical system, checked regularly, complete safety. The staff follows the compulsory courses of fire fighting and first aid.
Q: Are you an eco-friendly?
A: Following the various efforts that the world has taken to reduce the pollution of our planet, we have set the power saving in the rooms that interrupt the electricity when customers are out, sensors that turn the lights on in the hallways only wth passage, flush with double button 3 liters and 6 liters. We make the collection and also in the rooms there are signs that educate our clients in the separation of different waste.
Q: How far is the airport of Florence and what transportation can we take?
A: The airport is about 8 km from the center of Florence. To get here you can take a taxi to the flat rate of Euro 22,00 weekday, or from Euro 24,00 to Euro 25,30 in the night, plus € 1.00 per bag. Or there is Tram that arrives at the central train station and costs Euro 1.50 per person every 5 minutes.
Q: Can you get there by car and where you can park?
A: We are located in a limited traffic zone, but you can get there by car. Please contact us first, and we will send you a detailed map with the location and all the information on the ZTL and parking.
Q: How far is the train station?
A: We are about 15 minutes walk from the station, please contact us to have the map with itinerary. If you have big luggages, we recommend to take a taxi at the cost of Euro 10,00.
Q: The monuments of the city are far apart?
A: The B & B is located in the historical center, the main monuments are within walking distance in 10/15 minutes.
Q: Is there an ATM nearby?
A: Yes, right in front of us.
Q: Where is the nearest pharmacy?
A: In Duomo's Square open every day, 24 hours on 24.
Q: How far is the nearest supermarket?
A: Just a 5-minute walk away.
Q: Where the SITA bus station to go to Siena?
A: It is located next to the train station on the left side, 15 minutes walking.
Q: To take or return a rental car, are there agencies close to you?
A: Always in the center between the train station and the River Arno there are 2 streets (Via Maso Finiguerra and Borgognissanti), where there located almost all the car rental offices.
